ISU

The ISU College of Business conducts and shares research to educate tomorrow’s business leaders, so they are prepared to deal with multi-disciplinary, global, technological, ethical and diversity challenges. The college moved into the Gerdin Business Building in 2004. The 111,000-square foot building is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including high-tech laboratories that allow students and faculty to replicate real-world business situations, like securities trading and market research. These capabilities, combined with a solid curriculum, nationally-recognized faculty, and welcoming atmosphere, provide business students with an innovative educational experience. Students also benefit from faculty and staff who are dedicated, approachable, and responsive, creating an unmatched business education experience.

The ISU Office of Economic Development and Industry Relations (EDIR) assists external stakeholders in accessing the unique capabilities and services of Iowa State University. EDIR is a single point of contact to streamline the process of making connections between industry and the university. EDIR connects companies and individuals with university capabilities and expertise in business and technical assistance, research and development, facilities (including the ISU Research Park, laboratories, and equipment), and workforce development. Whatever your needs are, we are here to help you address them.

IADG

Founded in 1985, Iowa Area Development Group is the business and community development leader for our sponsors and partners, including nearly 250 member-owned electric cooperatives, municipal utilities, and independent telecommunication companies throughout the state.  IADG is committed to providing consultation and assistance to help businesses and communities achieve their project development goals. The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI) has served as the state’s unified voice for business since 1903. ABI’s mission is to nurture a favorable business, economic, governmental, and social climate within the state of Iowa, so that our citizens can have the opportunity to enjoy the highest possible quality of life. ABI members come from all 99 counties and all industry sectors, including manufacturers, retailers, insurance companies, financial institutions, publishers and printers, transportation services, law firms, health care organizations, and educational institutions.

The University of Iowa’s John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) is committed to being a national leader in teaching and supporting innovation and entrepreneurial development.
